GETTING AROUND
in Hawaii

By car: Car rentals on the island are reasonable, so rent a jeep and let the adventure begin. 

By foot: If you are staying in the Waikiki Beach area, there are many restaurants, shopping, and attractions within walking distance. No need for a car here! 

By trolley: The Waikiki trolley is hop-on, hop-off, and is a great way to get around Waikiki and downtown Honolulu. 

By taxi: Fares are locally regulated so that you will pay an initial fee of $3.50, plus $5.88 per mile traveled regardless of the cab company. Uber and Lyft are also available on Oahu.
