Bali is an island of Indonesia and is located in the Java Sea. Bali's location is 4,555 km (2,830 miles) from Australia and is situated between Indonesia's islands of Lombok and Java.

Passport & Visa Requirements:

US Citizens visiting Bali, Indonesia must have a valid U.S. passport that does not expire within six months of their arrival date, the passport must have at least two (2) blank pages. Travelers must also possess a return ticket or other proof that they will be leaving Indonesia within 30-days of arriving. This is a no-fee stamp placed in your passport upon arrival for travelers staying less than 30 days; no extensions are allowed and no adjustment to another visa status permitted.  If you overstay your visa, you are subject to a fine of 1 million Indonesian rupiah (about $70 USD at current exchange rates; fees may change at any time) per day and may be detained and deported.
