Las Vegas Travel Tips

Best time to visit LAS VEGAS

The best time to visit Las Vegas is from April - October. However, if you plan to walk the Las Vegas strip, you may want to avoid doing so during the months of July and August, when the temperatures can exceed 100 degrees during the daytime.

Why Go To Las Vegas

Las Vegas (Sin City) is America's playground and the Entertainment Capital of the World. Most adults think of Las Vegas as a theme park rather than a city. Millions of tourists from around the world visit each year to experience the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip, the fantastic food, shopping, entertainment, shows, concerts, events, and everything else that the city has to offer.

Today, Las Vegas can provide travelers with any vacation experience they can imagine so whether you're looking for a more traditional high-roller getaway complete with an all-nighter at your favorite casino or nightclub. Or you want to make it all about pampering yourself for the weekend at the hotel spa, high-end boutiques, and gourmet restaurants. Las Vegas is home to some great outdoor activities, excursions, helicopter tours, bus tours, boxing events, concerts, shows, and much more.

One of the most popular events announced for 2021 is Usher - The Las Vegas Residency - featuring eight-time GRAMMY Award-winner Usher. He will headline at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, opening Friday, July 16, 2021.

Best Way to Get Around:

The best way to get around Las Vegas is by taxi, Uber, Lyft, or bus.

Getting from the Las Vegas airport (LAS) to your hotel on the Strip is very easy. Many hotels offer airport shuttle services; however, we recommend a private car service, taxi, Uber, or Lyft. Car rentals are also available. However, unless you plan to visit friends, family or drive to the Hoover Dam, it is not recommended. Traffic along the Strip can get a little busy, and parking is both scarce and a bit expensive.
